Our favorite way to drink infusions is ice cold in a shot glass. But we’ve got to admit: with their acidity and the way they capture flavors, they are kind of the ideal cocktail ingredient.
Here are some of our popular infusion cocktail recipes for you to recreate at home.
RHUBARB DAISY
2 oz Kachka Rhubarb Vodka
.50 oz Simple syrup
.25 oz Lemon juice
1/4 cup Mint leaves
1 oz Club soda
Mint sprig
Muddle mint with simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add Kachka Rhubarb Vodka, lemon juice, and ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a mint sprig.
HORSERADISH MARTINI
Spicy, uplifting, bold; it’s the best accompaniment to tinned fish and pickled appetizers, or the perfect pre-dinner cocktail to stir the appetite.
2 oz Kachka Horseradish Vodka
.50 oz Lustau Fino Sherry
.25 oz Noilly Prat Extra Dry Vermouth
Quick stir, strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a cocktail onion.
FROM KACHKA WITH LOVE
2 oz Kachka Vodka
.50 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Stir and strain. Express lemon twist over glass. Garnish with an olive.
KAVA-TINI
1.5 oz Kachka Pertsovka Vodka
.75 oz Cold Brew
.50 oz Licor 43
.25 oz Kahlua
.25 oz Ruby Port
1 barspoon 1:1 Honey Syrup
3 Dashes Aphrodite Bitters
Express one orange peel into an empty martini glass. Shake ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
BLENDED MOSCOW MULE
2 oz Kachka Classic Vodka
1 oz Fresh squeezed Lime Juice
3 oz Ginger Beer (We recommend something spicy like Fever Tree)
.50 oz Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar and water)
Grated fresh ginger for extra spice
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend with a small amount of ice and slowly add more until you’ve achieved your preferred texture. Pour in chilled glass or copper mug and garnish with lime wheel.
